I am a daughter of Immigrants, the first woman in my family to go to university. I went to Chesapeake High School in Pasadena and attended the University of Maryland, College Park. I sailed competitively in college and continue to race small boats in the Annapolis area. I like to play golf.
I graduated from the University of San Diego Law School in 1993 and became a member of the Maryland State Bar in December of 1993.
I began my public service life as a Lawyer in the Office of the Public Defender and worked to provide access to justice and legal representation to indigent clients. In 2019, I was proud to join the Anne Arundel Circuit Court Clerk’s Office as its Chief Deputy Clerk, the Chief Clerk of 130 staff members. While at the Clerk’s Office, I have led the way to enhance customer service to Clerk Office customers, spearheaded initiatives to improve Clerk retention and implemented cost saving measures.
